Shawarma is one of my favourites and this is a super simple ground beef version that can be made in a skillet in less than 20 minutes. Making your own authentic style shawarma can take a bit of time so this version is perfect for a quick fix! This recipe is a easy as cooking the ground beef, along with onions and garlic, before adding the seasoning. (I like to use a homemade shawarma seasoning) This shawarma beef is amazing in pitas or salads along with lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, pickled onions, pickled jalapenos, shawarma sauce, sriracha, etc.

20 minutes, wow, I’m impressed and saving this for my weeknight recipe box, thank you!
Hmm, ground beef with shawarma seasoning. How creative!!! 😆
First of all, I don’t think I’ve tried one recipe from your site that wasn’t great and I’ve tried quite a lot. I love that all sauces and seasoning mixes used always include a ‘from scratch’ recipe too. This was so quick to make and tasted so good. I used all ground spices and water instead of broth and it was still super good. When I have more time, I’ll do the whole spices toasted and ground because I’m sure that would be even more delicious. I served over rice pilaf and made a cucumber and mint salad on the side. Thanks for another great recipe, Kevin!
where can I get this seasoning because I have looked at like three stores and can’t find it?
I like to make my ow! You can find the recipe here: https://alltagsgesundheit1.org/shawarma-seasoning/%3C/a%3E%3C/p%3E
