Caramelized Bananas

[heart_this] · May 8, 2023 · 6 Comments

Caramelized Bananas

Easy to make caramelized bananas that are the perfect topping for ice cream, pancakes, waffles, french toast etc.

Caramel sauce is one of my favourite foods and there’s something magical about combining it with bananas! This is a super simple caramel sauce made with butter and brown sugar that’s simmered with fresh bananas until they are tender and golden brown! I enjoy eating caramel bananas by the spoonful and they are great served on vanilla ice cream, french toast, pancakes, etc.

Note: To make bananas foster, add a splash of rum and ignite the rum, carefully!
