Chicken Shawarma Nachos

Quick and easy nachos with all of the flavours of chicken shawarma!

Chicken shawarma wraps are a quick, easy and tasty meal that I always enjoy and you can use the flavours in nachos for an amazing snack! These nachos start off with tortilla chips topped with plenty of melted cheese along with all of you favourite shawarma fillings such as: chicken shawarma, lettuce, cucumber, tomato, pickled red onions (link), olives, shawarma sauce (link) and hot sauce. The star of the show is the chicken with shawarma seasoning (link) and you can use slow cooker chicken shawarma (link), roast chicken shawarma (link), or grilled chicken shawarma (link). Thess chicken shawarma naches are perfect for munching on while watching the game!

Prep Time: 10 minutes Cook Time: 10 minutes Total Time: 20 minutes Servings: 6

Quick and easy nachos with all of the flavours of chicken shawarma!

ingredients
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag tortilla chips
  • 2 cups cheese (such as mozzarella and/or monterey jack), shredded
  • 2 cups chicken shawarma (link), warmed
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1 cup cucumber, diced
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 1/4 cup pickled red onions (link)
  • 1/4 cup kalamata olives
  • 1/4 cup feta, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup shawarma sauce (link)
  • 2 tablespoons sriracha (optional)
directions
  1. Spread the tortilla chips out on a baking sheet in a single layer, top with the cheese and bake in a preheated 350F/180C oven until the cheese has melted, about 5-10 minutes.
  2. Sprinkle on the remaining ingredients and enjoy!
Option: Add 1/4 cup pickled jalapenos.
Option: Add 1 avocado, diced.
Option: Add 1 tablespoon cilantro, chopped.
Option: Add 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped.
