Alfredo pasta is one of my favourites and it’s nice to add some meat! Normally I would top the pasta with some grilled or pan seared chicken, steak or shrimp but ground beef works really well in it! There is just something magical about that beefy flavour combined with cream and parmesan cheese! This is a pretty basic alfredo recipe where you cook the beef before adding the cream and cheese and then tossing it with your favourite pasta! You can also change things up by adding extra flavours (see below recipe for some ideas) or vegetables! This pasta is super easy to make, so it’s perfect for busy work nights and it’s sure to impress guests as well!
Add peas! Or broccoli!
Ground Beef Alfredo Pasta
A quick and easy alfredo pasta with ground beef.

- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped (optional)
directions
- Start cooking the pasta as directed on the package.
- Meanwhile, cook the beef in a large pan over medium heat, breaking it apart as it cooks, about 10 minutes, before draining off any excess grease.
- Add the onion and cook until tender, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about a minute.
- Add the cream, bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer until it thickens a bit, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the cheese and let it melt into the sauce before seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
