I can’t believe that it’s been another year! It was a tasty year filled with plenty of new and fun recipes! As I look back over the recipes shared in the last year I see a wonderful variety of: mains, sides, appetizers, desserts, breakfasts, soups, sandwiches, pastas, breads, etc. from many different cuisines! I’m eagerly looking forward to what new adventures lie in wait for the upcoming year!
One of the main challenges this last year was the rising cost of food. I tried to keep the ingredients to more pantry staples and items that come on sale frequently and there was certainly no loss in flavour, variety, or fun!

Thank you for your Blog and congratulations on 18 years! I checked my notes and I’ve been following you since at least 2015, possibly longer. I echo the other comments; your recipes are always well tested and I love the way you’re always trying something new. Some of your creations have become firm favourites in our house, and I always check out the blog when I have surplus ingredients to use. A great resource for home cooks!
