Kluski is a Polish style dish with egg noodles and cottage cheese that’s great as a side dish or a main! The recipe is as easy as cooking egg noodles and tossing them in cottage cheese! I like to start with onions which are cooked either in bacon grease or butter and I like to mix sour cream in with the cottage cheese. The bacon is optional, but it’s a fabulous addition!
My favourite way to enjoy pierogies is to fry them in butter (or bacon grease), along with onions, until the pierogies are golden brown and crispy and the onions are caramelized, before serving them topped with a dollop of sour cream! Kluski has all of the same amazing flavours!

Can this be adapted to a slow cooker recipe?? Cooked at home and warmed in the slow cooker? I need something for a work potluck and this looks amazing if adaptable.
You can make this as written and then throw it into the slow cooker on the keep warm setting for the potluck!
My Mom used to make this, but she would put it in a casserole dish and put buttered crumbs on top and bake it. Soooo good. Thank you for the recipe!
