Tzatziki Sauce, a Greek style cucumber sauce with yogurt, garlic, lemon and fresh herbs, is a favourite of mine and it goes well in so many things, like this chickpea salad! A while ago I shared a recipe for a tzatziki potato salad where a basic potato salad was dressed in a tzatziki sauce and this is a simple chickpea salad version. This salad starts out with the tzatziki and chickpeas and then it builds things out with the ingredients from a classic Greek style salad, including: cucumber, tomato, kalamata olives and feta. Not only is this salad packed with fresh ingredients but it’s also cool, creamy and full of flavour!

I saw the tuna option, and I thought I could see this salad as a substitute for tuna salad. I can imagine serving it on some good pita or flatbread. I’m going to try it this weekend.
